Lahti Basketball mediatiimi sai mmahdollisuuden jututtaa viime kaudella Bulgariassa pelannut Jalen Barria, joka saapuu elokuun lopussa Lahteen. Ilmavista suorituksista tunnettu laituri vastasi puhelimeen Charlottessa.
How has your summer been so far? My summer has been good just being back home with my family and friends and enjoying their company while also staying ready for this upcoming season.
Tell us a little bit about yourself? Well my name is Jalen and I enjoy spending time with family and friends also enjoy playing video games and just staying leveled heading. I enjoy relaxing on the beach and working out.
When did you start playing basketball? I started playing basketball at the age of 8 years old I love this sport and how it connect everyone
Who is your idol?
My idol is LeBron James I love to see him loving the process of this game and how he goes about basketball on and off the court
What are your expectations coming to Finland after a year Bulgaria? My expectations for Finland after this year in Bulgaria is just to keep improving and compete for a championship while enjoying what Finland has to offer me the scenery, the food and the competitive nature
How was Bulgaria in living wise and basketball wise?
Living in Bulgaria was very peaceful and I enjoyed the people there but honestly the best part was when we travelled to a different city but basketball wise was very competitive and even tho my team was not very good I still tried to give my best every single game and I believe that situation was just a learning curve for me .
What was the biggest lesson you learned in college?
The biggest lesson I learned in college was to continue to strive to be the best and also being able to connect with a lot of different people and to enjoy the moment.
How did you hear about Lahti Basketball? I heard about lahti basketball from my agent and jehloni James who recently just played for lahti
Why did you choose Lahti Basketball? I chose lahti because I felt like it was a good basketball place to be and also the style of play and I’m willing to learn more about it when I come down.
What kind of player is Lahti Basketball getting by signing you? Lahti basketball is getting a determined player that is always trying to win and connect with the fan base
If you have to name one player who is your game reminding of, who would that be? I think my game is just different and it could remind you of a Josh hart

My all time starting five would be Michael Jordan,Kobe Bryant,LeBron James wemby, Shaq
Do you know anything about your new hometown Lahti?
Right now at this moment I know it gets cold and they have a ski resort and a beautiful scenery.
