First time outside of USA. What’s your first impression of city of Lahti? First impression of Lahti is that the city very calm and cool.
What has been biggest culture shock so far in Finland? The biggest culture shock to me is young age children walking the streets by themselves with no adult supervision.
Tell me little bit about yourself? Im from the USA, was born and raised in Alabama. I love and love to watch all sports. I like spending time with family and friends most. I also like to travel and spend more money than i have on shopping!
This is your first year as as pro. How does it feel? The feeling is surreal for sure. Going pro was always just a dream but now for it to be a a reality for me, i am just very humble and grateful for the opportunity and experience!
Tell me about your college career? My college career consisted of two schools starting with JUCO at Coastal Alabama Community College in Alabama close to where i grew up. I was named ACCC Player of the Year my last season there. My second school was Tarleton State University, 600+ miles away from my hometown, out in Stephenville, Texas. These last two years at Tarleton has been two of the best two years of my entire life and i wouldn’t trade for any of it!
How’d you heard about Lahti Basketball? I heard about Lahti Basketball through my agent and Coach Palotie reaching out.
What is the best basketball memory so far in your career? My best basketball memory of my career would be from this past season when we beat GCU on our home court and all the fans stormed the court!
What kind of player is Lue Williams? Lue is an impactful player in multiple ways whether it’s offense or defense. He can score efficiently from all the levels of the floor and can also defend multiple positions on defense.
Who has had biggest impact to your career? No specifics but God, all my coaches, family and friends have had a big impact on my career! I wouldn’t have made it this far without any of them.
Who’s your favorite player all time? My favorite player of all time is Kevin Durant. He’s my GOAT!
What’s your all time starting 5? My all time starting 5 would be Stephen Curry, Michael Jordan, Lebron James, KEVIN DURANT, and Nikola Jokic.
